Living Archive of the
Sixth Schedule

A structured digital legal-policy archive documenting the constitutional evolution of India's Sixth Schedule.

Ongoing Research

A Structured Digital Legal-Policy Archive

A dynamic digital archive documenting the constitutional, legal, and administrative evolution of the Sixth Schedule in India — built to serve researchers, policymakers, scholars, and institutions.

The Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution creates a unique framework of autonomous governance for tribal areas in Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Mizoram. This archive exists to document, contextualise, and make accessible the complex constitutional history, legal precedents, and administrative evolution embedded within this critical governance structure.

The archive is structured to support comparative constitutional analysis, legal research, and governance reform recommendations — providing an indispensable reference for anyone engaged with India's tribal governance framework.
